A recent report from Beatdapp reveals that at least 10% of all global song streams are fraudulent, costing the industry between $2 billion and $3 billion each year. 

However, fraudulent ‘artificial’ streaming is being cracked down on hard, with Spotify imposing fines for labels and distributors.
